Why we are here
Every single day people and stories come through our doors. They arrive, tell their stories and let themselves be bewitched. It has been like this for centuries.
It is a kind of mission that was given to the Franciscan friars first, then to the military, and finally it has been passed on to us.
Maybe this is the reason why our family sees the Colomba as something different from just an ordinary job.
It all started with Silvio and Marta’s passion, their hopes, their desire to build a future, their stubborn determination and their strength. It has been their dream and we couldn’t possibly let it die.
That’s why we are here. A thousand ideas, a thousand projects, and often a lot of fear that we will not succeed. But somehow we feel protected in here. From who or what we can’t really explain.
Maybe one day we’ll understand. Maybe one day the Mystery will be revealed.
